South Korea and the US Cozy Up to North Korea

So, recently, South Korea and the US have been kinda cozying up to North Korea. It’s like everyone suddenly decided to play nice.

South Korea stopped its loudspeakers blasting messages across the border, and guess what? Trump tried to slide into Kim Jong-un’s DMs with a letter, but nope, North Korea was having none of that and didn’t even take the letter.

And then there’s Lee Jae-myung, the new guy in charge in South Korea. He’s shaking things up, telling activists to quit it with the anti-North leaflets. He’s also about turning down the volume on those propaganda loudspeakers. Oh, but he’s not stopping there. Lee is all about reopening communication lines and cutting back on the hostility. He’s like, “Let’s talk and be friends again,” hoping to kickstart some good old dialogue and cooperation.
